Fun in the Sun!

Just wanted to let everyone know that pictures from Florida are up on the Shutterfly site (link at the left). We had such a great time on our vacation! Espen especially enjoyed the pool. We swam every day and he still wanted more. He kept grabbing his life vest and heading for the door saying, "Go! Go! Go!" Too funny! It was really great to see my good friend Melissa (who I haven't seen in FOREVER) and her husband Nate. Thanks guys for making the cross-state trip to spend some time with us. And a special thanks to my mom and dad for covering my shifts at the store so I could take a much-needed vacation. I love you all!

Espen snatched the paper off the table at breakfast the other day and was so darn cute reading it that I just had to share. :) Doesn't he look so grown up? I half expected him to be drinking coffee from his sippy cup. :)

Now we see what he's REALLY reading! :)

Espen loves the Olympics!

Ok, so I know that I haven't posted in like 6 months and that I am a horrible blogger-type-person, but let's just all pretend that I have been faithfully keeping up with this and that all is good. Thanks.

Espen watched the Canada vs. USA hockey game with us on Sunday and was VERY interested. Unfortunately all of his rooting didn't pan out for the USA, but it wasn't for lack of trying!

A Day at the Park

I know it has been a very, VERY long time since I have posted, and I really have no excuse except that I have been enjoying every possible moment with the loves of my life! :) Espen gets bigger every day. I can't believe how fast he is growing! Even though it is happening right in front of me, I feel like I am missing it! I just want to freeze time and keep him little and cuddly. :) And yet... at the same time, I celebrate how grown up he is getting. It seems like just a few weeks ago he was a little scared of the slides at the park, and now he is daredevil Espen, climbing up the biggest slides all by himself. Crazy. Kevin and Mallory's Wedding

Here are a few pictures from Jason's cousin Kevin's wedding last weekend. Isn't Espen so handsome? It was a lovely ceremony.

Espen's First Trip to the Zoo

We took Espen to the Zoo yesterday for the first time. He had a great time looking at all of the animals. There was a lot of pointing and waving at different animals. We rode the train all around the zoo and went to the children's zoo. We even had a picnic lunch. It was a LOT of fun!
